ABUELAS HAVANESE is owned by Jonda Brown and Sharon Stevens. We were blessed with our first Havanese, StarBright Amada Coquetta aka "CoCo", in the summer of 2003. CoCo quickly stole our hearts and has inspired our tremendous love for this incredibly fun and entertaining breed. You can click on "CoCo" above to see more about her affections and show career.
Havanese free spirit are just addicting. As they say, "you can't have just one", so in the fall of 2005 we received our new addition LiveOaks Wish Upon a Star, aka "EVIE". These two beautiful girls kept us busy as we showed them to their AKC Championship.

ABUELAS HAVANESE

ABUELAS HAVANESE represents our family of AKC Champion Bred HAVANESE show and companion dogs. We are not a commercial breeding kennel. Havanese is our only breed. We are a small conscientious and responsible breeder with the purpose of producing dogs that conform to the Breed Standard as close as possible. Temperament and health are the most important qualities to us. Our Havanese must pass the health testing recommended by the Havanese Club of America to qualify for our breeding program. We may only breed one or two litters per year. We raise our puppies in our home and they are extremely well socialized. We do screen prospective families and will place our puppies only in approved homes.
